Established over thirty years ago, clothing retailer Crew Clothing Company was facing an increasingly crowded sector of mid-market fashion brands, providing stiff competition.

Brief

Whistlejacket were tasked with refreshing the Crew brand and creating a purpose to help them stand out from its ever-increasing pool of competitors, and put them in fighting shape for the next twenty years.

Whistlejacket created a brand purpose to underpin Crew’s refreshed look and feel. Additionally, we developed comprehensive brand guidelines, and established a complete brand identity. This included everything from tone of voice and photographic style to product design. Collaborating with the head designer, we crafted inspiring customer archetypes to inform new clothing designs. 

Finally, we designed Crew's physical retail spaces, redesigning both the interior and exterior of stores for a cohesive, immersive brand experience. Our focus on customer flow, product presentation and ambiance ensured a distinct shopping journey. Every detail elevated the Crew brand and resonated with their audience.
